BC Arbitration and Mediation Institute (BCAMI)
Chartered Mediator (C.Med.)

Requirements include:

A minimum 80 hours of mediation theory and skills training;
A minimum 100 hours of study or training in dispute resolution;
A minimum 10 mediations having acted as sole mediator or mediation chairperson in at least five fee-billed mediations;
Demonstration of mediation skills in a role play;
Certificate of insurance.
